[Asian] Leadership Scholarship for Asian Nationals - IE Foundation
The Scholarship program grants 10 scholarships that covers 50% of the tuition fees for the IE International MBA and International Executive MBA.IE Foundation works to promote sustainable development through business education. The main aim of the IE Foundation is to provide young people with access to the business world, and to offer training programs for professionals in the different areas that comprise a company.
Additional activities include arranging scholarships, research projects and the creation of a special fund for the publication of business, legal and fiscal texts. Thus the Foundation generates opportunities for young people starting out on their career, fostering the entrepreneurial spirit that is so vital for economic and social development.
Eligibility Criteria
These Scholarships are aimed at outstanding candidates from Asian countries. The ideal candidate should fulfil the following criteria:
- Admission to IE International MBA or International Executive MBA.
- Proven Leadership Skills.
- Outstanding Professional Development.
Deadlines
The application deadline is January 15, 2007.
Should there be any funding left available after first round offers have been accepted, there will be two additional rounds:
- 2nd round deadline: March 15, 2007
- 3rd round deadline: May 15, 2007
Selection Process
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to present the CV (1 page) and two essays (each min. 250, max. 500 words) on the following topics:
- In your opinion, how important is management education to the development of your region over the next 10 years?
- Why should you be granted a scholarship? What responsibilities come along with being a scholarship recipient? Please include a financial plan explaining how you intend to
finance the programme and living costs a) with the scholarship award and b) without the scholarship award.
