[Australia] Elizabeth Wunsch Postgraduate Research Scholarship - The University of Sydney
This postgraduate scholarship is funded by a bequest from Elizabeth Wunsch for the purpose of pharmaceutical research within the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney. The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit and research potential, as demonstrated by previous research experience, published work and conference presentations. Applicants must have or expect to complete by the end of 2008 a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours and be enrolled or enrolling in a PhD at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sydney. Applicants must not have previously completed a degree at the same level as the proposed candidature. Periods of study undertaken towards the degree prior to commencement of the scholarship will be deducted from the maximum tenure of the scholarship. Availability
This scholarship is offered annually to 2 people. Open for applications until November 1, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD20007 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: CHEMICAL SCIENCES, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, Other chemical sciences or Pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
