[Australia] Ferry Postgraduate Philosophy Scholarship - The University of Western Australia
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist a meritorious graduate to undertake PhD research in the field of ‘Hard Determinism ”in the Discipline of Philosophy at The University of Western Australia (the University). Applicants for the scholarship should provide a proposal of no more than 1000 words. Proposals must be for research into the consequences of hard determinism, and proposals for research in any of the areas mentioned above are particularly welcome. The award is a top-up scholarship, to be held in comjuction with an Aust Postgraduate Award / University Postgraduate Award (APA/UPA) or other full scholarship. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from June 17, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD10003 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
