[Australia] Nakashima Foundation Japanese Studies Postgraduate Scholarship
Asian Studies would like to invite potential candidates to apply for this prestigious scholarship. Applications are welcome from any field of contemporary Japanese Studies, but with preference given to research projects that fit with the broader research strengths of Asian Studies academic staff (for more information visit: http://www.asianstudies.arts.uwa.edu.au/about/research). Applications close on 31 October 2008, but may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found. Hence, interested applicants should apply ASAP.
Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from June 17, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD24000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: LANGUAGE AND CULTURE or STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
