Scholarship Description
The Centre for Immune and Targeted Therapies is based within the Gallipoli Research Foundation Translation Research Centre associated with the University of Queensland at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Australia’s largest private hospital. A number of research projects are available. Our main research interests involve developing and undertaking clinical trials of novel immune based and other targeted therapies for the treatment of cancer and leukaemia. PhD projects will suit candidates with interests inc linical applications of basic research and who aim to develop the skills and background to lead their own research team or be involved in commercialisation of medical research. This is a top up schoalrship and is conditional upon the successful applicant receiving an APA or similar scholarship.
