[Canada] AnÉIS Interdisciplinary Training Program Doctoral Awards - University of Montreal

For the 2007-2008 academic year, the AnÉIS interdisciplinary training program will offer doctoral awards corresponding to those from CIHR ($21,000 or more). These one-year awards are renewable for a second year, conditional on the candidate re-applying for the following year and providing proof that he or she has applied to a recognized granting agency for an award during the 2007-2008 academic year. One of the aims of the AAnnÉÉIISS program (financed by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, CIHR) is to recruit students from a variety of disciplines who are interested in developing research projects in analysis and evaluation of health interventions directed or aimed at human populations or sub-populations from an interdisciplinary perspective.
All Masters-level training is eligible. For example, consideration will be given to applications in the health sciences, the social sciences, public health, psychology, social work or kinesiology. The awards could be jointly offered with other partners, depending on the nature of the project.
