2008 Summer Study in China – General Studies Program

Scholarship Announcement
This scholarship is provided by the General Studies Program to selected students participating in the summer study program in China. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for the award. Recipients are chosen by a selection committee appointed by the Director of the General Studies Program. Applications will be judged mainly by financial need and institutional affiliation of the applicant, written essay, and GPA.
Scholarship amount
The number of recipients awarded each year will vary according to available funding. This year $1,000 in scholarship money will be available for two recipients with $500 each.

Students may obtain the application form in one of the following two ways:

- Contact the professor who processed your program participation
Students should mail or forward the completed application to:

Deadlines:
The application must be received no later than January 10, 2008. Names of recipients will be announced in early February, 2008.
