[Denmark] PhD fellowships in Biotechnology Copenhagen Graduate School of Biotechnology

Copenhagen Graduate School of Biotechnology at The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, KVL, wishes to appoint up to six Ph.D. fellows in Biotechnology at KVL or The Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The fellowships are expected to run from 1/10-2006 or soon thereafter to 30/9-2009.
Requirements
Only candidates with a Master degree and good marks can apply for FOBI Ph.D fellowships. The average of marks (excluding that of the Master thesis report) should be least 9 (Danish system).
A mark of at least 10 for the Master thesis is required. Occasionally a candidate with an average below 9 can be judged qualified if he or she has published a paper/papers in an international journal with peer review or in another convincing way has demonstrated ability for conducting scientific research.
With reference to the project manager, the work of the Ph.D. fellow will consist mainly of duties in connection with research and development within microbial, animal or plant biotechnology.

Applications marked 625-17 must be submitted in 6 copies (including all enclosures in 6 sets) to KVL (The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University), Copenhagen Graduate School of Biotechnology, Department of Plant Biology, Thorvaldsensvej 40, DK-1871 Frederiksberg C, Copenhagen, Denmark no later than 28/8 2006 at 12:00. An Electronic copy of the application form and all documents in one file on a CD must be enclosed.
