[France] Doctoral fellowships for European mobility - Université de Lyon
The International Doctoral College of Université de Lyon (France) offers 16 doctoral fellowships for the next academic year.
This College gathers 17 doctoral schools covering all scientific research areas within laboratories of 8 universities, “Grandes Ecoles” and Engineering schools :
- Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon,
- Ecole Centrale de Lyon,
- Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon,
- Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lettres et Sciences Humaines, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1,
- Université Lumière Lyon 2,
- Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3
- Université Jean Monnet de Saint Etienne

Eligibility criteria :
- Students coming from a country of the European union or from a state signatory of the agreement on
European Higher Education Area - And students having completed a Master’s Degree (2 years : first and second year) outside of France
To applicate, please send us :
- Name of the thesis director and a description of your research program in one page
- CV and letter of motivation
- Academic results of the last two years in each course (and academic ranking if appropriate)
- Training courses and research works : reports’ titles and name of scientific supervisor, reports’ summary (1 page at the most), publications if possible
- Letter of recommendation by one or two supervisor(s)
The fellowship gross amount is 1 658 € per month per 3 years (applicable rate as of 03/01/2008).
The doctoral student will work on his thesis in one of a field covered by the 17 doctoral schools, within one of 340 research laboratories of the Université de Lyon. Please send your application by e-mail to the relevant doctoral school.
