[Hungary] Undergraduate Scholarship - University Commerciale Luigi Bocconi
How do I know that I’m eligible for the first year exemption?
Students whose high school ends with Grade 11 are not eligible for the first year exemption. Students whose high school transcript ends with Grade 12 or greater (e.g., college or university years completed) should contact the Dual Degree in International Business program to confirm their first year exemption eligibility.
What are scholarships based on? How are they awarded?
Two types of scholarship are available:
- Partial Scholarship - this is a merit-based scholarship which also considers the student’s financial need. Students applying for partial scholarship support must complete the Scholarship
Application Form. - Full Scholarship - A very limited number of full scholarship will be awarded to students who display excellent academic and leadership potential, but who would not be in the position to attend the program without full financial aid. Students applying for this Scholarship must complete the Scholarship Application Form. The student will be required to provide additional in-depth finanacial documentation upon receipt of a formal offer of admission.
Where should I send my test results?
Official TOEFL score reports should be sent to CEU Business School, DUAL DEGREE in International Business, Frankel Leo u. 30-34, H-1023 Budapest, Hungary (university code is 0203). If you take another accepted English language exam (see the list of exams in the Admissions section), please arrange to have official results sent prior to the start of your studies.
The SAT Reasoning Test is also a requirement for the DDIB. You should arrange to have an official score report sent to CEU Business School. The institution code is 4567.
Exam/test results vs. application deadline:
Many applicants are going to take the required tests (i.e. SAT and TOEFL) or will receive the test results after the admission deadline (May 30, 2008). Application dossiers may be accepted without the score report, but the admission will be conditional upon receiving the score report shortly after. This applies to all the documents which can not be submitted until the deadline, like final grades of high school, etc.
Is it possible to work in Hungary and in Italy during the program, in order to support my living there?
No, it is not possible.
How should I send my grades?
Every copy of an official document should be certified. This means that it should be stamped and signed by the institution (the school) which issued it. Translations must be certified as well: they should be from an official translator (stamped and signed by him/her).
Tuition fee - should it be paid in one amount or in installments?
Tuition fee can be paid in a maximum of two installments: the first installment at the start of the first semester, the second installment at the beginning of the second semester.
