UCD`s Food & Health Academic Cluster, is strategically aligned with National and International research and policy prioroties, through a comprehensive and inclusive program. Its expanding research programme, is focused on the food chain, extending from plants and animals through public health. Research is undertaken using a multidisciplinary approach, with integrated teams in subject areas including: Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Food Safety, Human Nutrition, Nutrigenomics, Genetics, Human Sciences, Infectious Diseases [animal and human], Public Health Medicine & Population Science and Veterinary Medicine.
