Japan Tobacco Asia Scholarship (JT)
Japan Tobacco, Inc. (JT) provides a scholarship for newly enrolling international students. JT makes the final selection of their scholarship recipients.
- This scholarship is available for those who are from Asian countries and regions and less than 35 years old as of September 1, 2008
- Japanese Language proficiency is equal to or more than intermediate level or Level 3 of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test
Eligibility
- Students who are interested in international understanding and friendship. Recipients will be expected to contribute to promote these activities
- Sudent is expected to attend events organized by JT
- Monthly Stipend: 150,000 yen
- The scholarship is basically for one year (October 2008 to August 2009). Extension of the scholarship for the second year of study requires submission of an extension application
Conditions
Note: This scholarship does not cover admission fee nor tuition.
Interview is held in August for domestic applicant and September for international applicant.
Successful applicants may receive an IUJ Scholarship (Type B, C or S) together with JT Scholarship.
