The Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS) @ WASEDA will shortlist from the pool of applicants and recommend them to the WASEDA University Centre of International Education (CIE)

Scholarship Grants
- Exemption of the Graduate School Tuition Fees (In Principle, TWO years)
- A 200,000 JPY Monthly Allowance
- A 150,000 JPY One-Time Travel Allowance (Upon Entry to Japan Only)
Eligibility
To apply for the Waseda University Asia Special Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a national of an Asian country (List of Participating Countries: Annex 2)
- Be less than 35 years old (at the point of matriculation)
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- In principle, applicants should have at least two years of full-time professional experience acquired after a university degree, in the applicant’s home country or in a third country
- Be prepared to return to his/ her native country upon completion of studies and contribute to his/ her home country
