Scholarship Description
The Baltic and East European Graduate School (BEEGS) is located at Södertörns högskola (Södertörn University College) in south Stockholm, Sweden. BEEGS is part of the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies, CBEES. The focus of the research activities at BEEGS is on the Baltic and East European area. Applications for admission to BEEGS are invited once per year. Applicants from all countries are welcome to apply and a number of doctoral students are admitted each year. All doctoral students receive a salary, office space and other benefits for a period of four years. The language of instruction is English and fluency in English is required. Up to three PhD candidates in Political Science will be appointed. Doctoral students are offered full-time employment for a period of up to four years, in accordance with the regulations of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education. The starting date for employment is 1 February 2009.
