Job description: The Department of Physics (founded 1987) and the Graduate Institute of Biophysics (founded 2007) at the National Chung Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan, are seeking Postdoctoral Researchers to join our interdisciplinary research team. Experimentalists and theoreticians are both invited to apply.
Salary:
About NT$ 55,000 per month (living expense in Taichung is around NT$25,000 per month)
Areas of Interest:
- Nonlinear physics (theory) : chaos, granular physics, networks, etc.
- Biological physics (experiment, theory) : Pase motors, microbial circadian rhythm, microbial sociobiology, etc.
- Biomechanics (experiment, theory) : bio-dynamics of fluid-structure interactions, animal locomotion, mechanics of biological structures, etc.
- Soft condensed-matter physics (experiment, theory) : giant vesicles, polymers, etc. Duration of Contract: One year, but can be extended to two years
