Description: There is an immediate postdoctoral position opening in Materials Science/solid state chemistry/nano- science at the department of materials science and engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan.
Qualification: National or International candidates are eligible. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering, solid-state chemistry and physics or nano-science related areas.
Key words: materials science, electro-ceramics, solid-state physics, multiferroics, dielectrics, nanoscience.
Job description: The candidate will be actively involved in the investigation of structure-property relationship in polycrystalline electro-ceramics materials namely, dielectric and multiferroic etc. Initial appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance.
About our lab and the department: Our lab conducts frontier theoretical and experimental research in the areas of Electronic ceramics materials. The department is equipped with all the latest characterization techniques related to materials science research. Specific facilities can be accessed in all the universities in Taiwan. Our department provides a friendly atmosphere and English-speaking environment for international candidates.
