  • a critical engagement with strategies for urban competitiveness
  • an introduction to researching contemporary urbanism

The MA in Creative Cities is designed for those who intend to pursue a future career in urban and regional development, private sector property and retail development, or those who wish to undertake further research in urban economic and cultural geography.

Former MA graduates have gone on to work in urban redevelopment, planning and consultancy jobs within local authorities, government agencies and private sector firms. They also have continued with further academic research via PhD programmes in Geography.
