[UK] PhD Scholarships - The University of Manchester
DEPARTMENTAL TRAINING AWARD [DTA]
Value:
The School will offer a number of PhD Studentships tenable for three years from October 2007. These studentships will be supported by EPSRC through the DTA [Departmental Training Award]. The Studentships will cover academic fees and provide a tax-free stipend of £12,600 per annum.
Eligibility:
UK applicants may be considered for the full award and EU applicants may be considered for an award on a fees only basis.
These awards are not available to overseas students
Criteria:
Only applicants with at least a 2(i) Honors Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, or a closely related technical subject, will normally be considered.
