Postgraduate Tuition Fee Bursaries for Environmental History

The Department of History is pleased to be able to offer bursaries equivalent to the value of fees for full-time home/EU postgraduate students.
Value of the bursary
Three tuition fee bursaries on the MRes in Environmental History (value equivalent to full-time home/EU fee).
In order to be considered you must have been offered a place on one of our programmes. Applications will be ranked according to academic merit by the Departmental Research Committee.
Student Eligibility
Students applying for entry to a taught postgraduate programme wishing to be considered for a bursary should mark clearly on their University application form that they wish to be considered for a tutition fee bursary.
The Department hopes that the successful postgraduate Masters students will wish to continue to PhD study within the Department and bursary students will be given every support in applying for external research funding, including the highly competitive AHRC studentship scheme.

You must submit your application for admission to our postgraduate programme. Normally only applications which have been fully processed and students who have been offered admission on a conditional or unconditional basis by 10 September 2008 will be considered for a departmental bursary.
Bursary applications will be considered by the Departmental Research Committee.
