[UK] International Postgraduate Scholarships - Sheffield Hallam University
SHU International Achievement Scholarships are available for students starting their studies in the 2008/09 academic year. They aim to encourage highly qualified graduates from all over the world to follow a full-time postgraduate taught programme at Sheffield Hallam University.
For Semester 2 entry (courses starting in January or February 2009), please send by 30 November 2008.
All full-time postgraduate taught courses at the University are taking part in the scheme. The minimum value of the scholarship is £1,000 which will be presented to the successful candidates in the form of a cheque. Certificates will also be presented to scholarship students at an international prize-winners ceremony.
REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the scholarship you must be an international student (i.e. pay international tuition fees). You must also have, or expect to achieve, a good undergraduate degree and a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. You should be able to demonstrate personal, academic or professional achievement through your personal statement.
DEADLINE
Your application for the International Achievement Scholarship should be sent with or following your application for a postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. For Semester 1 entry (courses starting in September or October 2008), please send by 30 June 2008; for Semester 2 entry (courses starting in January or February 2009), please send by 30 November 2008 to:
