[UK] The British Chevening-Oxford Australia Scholarships - Oxford University
Eligibility
These awards are for students from Australia who have been admitted to a one-year taught Master’s degree. Awards may be held in a range of academic disciplines including science and innovation, new and renewable energy sources, global environmental issues, science policy, sustainable development, human rights and political science.
Number and value of awards
Two scholarships to a value of the order of A$24,000 will be available. The scholarships are intended to contribute towards both fees and living expenses and are tenable for one year only. The value of the award is subject to variation each year.

The closing date is 20 February 2007. Applicants must apply for admission to the University in the first, second or third gathered field.
Note: Candidates must apply for an Overseas Research Student (ORS) Award (see Scholarships not restricted by region for international students) to cover the difference between home and overseas University fees for eligible research degrees.
