[UK] Two PhD Studentships in Plasma Physics at Queen’s University of Belfast

Two studentships, funded through the through the UK Engineering and Physical Science Research Council’s Science and Innovation programme, are available within the Centre for Plasma Physics at Queen’s University Belfast.
- Project 1. High Power Laser-Matter Interaction
- Project 2. Nonlinear Modulated Wavepackets in Multi-Component Plasmas
Each will involve plasma theory and computer simulation and will be under the supervision of either Dr Michael Geissler ( project 1) or Dr Yannis Kourakis (project 2).
