[United States] Portland State University International Scholarship
Portland State University offers scholarship awards ranging from $3,000 to $4,500. These scholarships are competitive and awarded to new international students who have achieved high academic standing. Awards are given to beginning university students pursuing a baccalaureate degree. Additional awards are available for students who wish to pursue a master`s or doctoral degree.
Eligibility
1) Students must be admitted to Portland State.
2) Official transcripts must be received by Portland State no later than March 15, 2007.
3) Minimum grade point average (GPA): 3.5 out of possible 4.0 on Portland State`s grading scale.
4) Students who have not met the TOEFL/English Language Proficiency requirement are eligible for these scholarships; however, activation of the scholarship will be delayed until after the ESL restriction has been lifted and the students are fully eligible for unrestricted enrollment in Portland State degree programs.
