[United States] Scholarships for Women Engineers - SWE
Eligibility is restricted to women engineers who are preparing for reentry to the engineering workforce following a period of temporary retirement. There is no minimum GPA requirement for students. All SWE scholarships are open only to women majoring in engineering or computer science in a college or university with an ABET-accredited program,
or in a SWE-approved school, and who will be in the specified year of study during the academic year the grant payment is made.
Re-Entry Scholarships assist women in obtaining the credentials necessary to re-enter the workforce as engineers. For the B.K. Krenzer Memorial Re-Entry Scholarship, preference is given to degreed engineers desiring to return to the workforce following a period of temporary retirement. Recipients may be entering any year of an engineering program, undergraduate or graduate, as full- or part-time students.
