[United States] Tina Watkins Scholarship for International Students - Texas A&M University
The Tina Watkins Scholarship application must be accompanied by a nomination letter from any faculty member at Texas A&M University. If a student has been enrolled only one semester, a second nomination letter by a faculty member in the student’s previous academic institution may be submitted in addition to the Texas A & M University nomination letter.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a self-supported international student currently enrolled and having completed at least two semesters at Texas A&M University. Full-time ELI and prospective students are NOT eligible. An international student is defined as a student who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and who does not hold an immigrant visa.
- Must be enrolled in first, second or third semester as degree-seeking student at Texas A&M University at time of application.
- Must provide a letter of nomination as part of the scholarship application. (See Additional Requirements.)
- Must be in good academic standing: minimum cumulative GPR for Undergraduates - 2.0, and Graduates - 3.0.
- Students cannot be the recipient of a Tina Watkins Scholarship more than once.
