[United States] University of Arizona International Student Scholarship.
The UA has limited number of academic scholarships available to new undergraduate international students at their first point of entry to the University of Arizona. However, scholarships based on need are not available.
Eligibility
To become eligible for consideration, you must meet the following criteria:
1) Submit an undergraduate admission application (with $75 application fee) to the UA International Student Admissions Office. The undergraduate application for admission also serves as the application for the scholarship. The application must be complete, including financial guarantee verification documentation.
2) You must have completed the equivalent of a U.S. High school education program that is recognized by the Ministry of Education in your home country.
Academic evaluation
An applicant`s academic record will be evaluated according to the national standards of his or her country and equivalency to the American education system. Scores from aptitude test, for example, the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the Academic Collegiate Test (ACT), may also be reviewed in determining an applicant`s academic competitiveness. Though not required, these scores may enhance your application.
