ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship
Spring 2007 marked the unveiling of ACWA’s new prestigious Water Law & Policy Scholarship, to honor Steve Hall, former ACWA executive director. Steve retired in 2007 after 15 years of dedicated service to the association and 30 years of water leadership.
ACWA awards one $7000 scholarship each spring to qualified graduate students who are majoring in law, policy or public administration and have a focus or concentration in water resources. Qualified students are selected based not only on scholastic achievement, but also on the individual’s commitment and motivation to his/her chosen vocation. In addition to funding from ACWA, funds are being raised throughout the water community. Applications must be postmarked no later than APRIL 1 of each year.
