[USA] Alvin J. Cox Memorial Fund
The Alvin J. Cox Memorial Fund is available to college students in need of financial assistance.
For 2008 they offering 8 individual scholarships, each worth $1000.
There are no special eligibility requirements for the scholarship. All students may apply regardless of their race, nationality or financial status. They ask that each student who wishes to apply write a brief essay. The essay may be on any topic of your choosing as long as it includes:
- Your reason for deciding to attend college.
- Your chosen college major
- Any reasons for why you believe you deserve the scholarship.
Deadline : May 31 , 2008
We ask that all essays be submitted to the email address below by May 31 , 2008.
All scholarship recipients will be notified and issued their awards no later than July 20th, 2009.
