Christian Leader Scholarship

Leadership is all about influence - and Christian leadership is all about using that influence for God’s purposes! The Christian Leader Scholarship at Crown College is a program that is designed to develop your leadership potential through mentoring and training, and to partner with you in funding your college education.

Prospective students who exhibit leadership qualities in the classroom and the community are invited to apply for this scholarship. As part of the application process, prospective students will visit campus on one of three Christian Leader Scholarship Days during which time you will have the chance to meet with a wide variety of people at the College in order to share your personal leadership experiences, your goals for the future, and your heart for ministry.

Minimum award of $1000 for your freshman year; maximum award of full-tuition scholarship per year for four years (when GPA and program requirements are kept).

December 8, 2008 - application deadline is December 1, 2008 (join us for some fun at our Athletic Visit Event)

  • February 5, 2009 - application deadline is January 23, 2009
  • (join us for some fun at our Winter Preview)
  • April 16, 2009 - application deadline is April 3, 2009
    (join us for some fun at our Spring Preview)

    • Steps to apply and requirements for the Christian Leader Scholarship are as follows:
    Requirements:

    • Applicants must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0.
    • Applicants must be under the age of 20 on August 31, 2009.
    • Applicants may not have participated in past Christian Leader Scholarship Days.

    Application:

    • Apply for admission to Crown College for the Fall 2009.
    • Submit an official high school transcript to the Admissions Office. Students with 12 or more college credits must also submit a college transcript.
    • Submit the online CLS scholarship registration form below.
    • Submit a letter of recommendation from a youth pastor or mentor who can write in detail about your leadership experience and potential. Letters must be received no later than one week before the student arrives on campus for the CLS Day.
