The Cintas Foundation is pleased to announce the following competitions open November 15, 2007: the Cintas Foundation Fellowship in Creative Writing, Emilio Sanchez Award in Visual Arts, and Brandon Fradd Fellowship in Music Composition.

The Cintas Foundation invites applications for fellowships in music composition, creative writing, and the visual arts. Each fellowship awards $15,000. Eligibility is limited to artists of Cuban citizenship or direct descent (having a Cuban parent or grandparent) living outside of Cuba. Persons currently pursuing academic studies are not eligible. Cintas fellows are free to pursue their artistic activities as they wish, according to their application, in the United States or abroad.
