[USA] Undergraduate Scholarship - Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
The Program
Through this program, the Foundation selects high-achieving youth with financial need and provides them with individualized educational opportunities and support, throughout high school, that will enable them to develop their talents and abilities. The Foundation awards approximately 70 of these scholarships each year. The Young Scholars Program is one of the most individualized scholarships offered in the US.
The Competition
By the 2007 application deadline, more than 1,000 students had applied for awards from the Young Scholars Program. In fall 2007, the Foundation selected 70 new Young Scholars from among this highly competitive pool.
